The short version

What stays on your device

Files you open or create are processed locally. The app stores a small amount of data on your device to work: the list of recently opened files (names and links), bookmarks and last-read page, your credit balance and settings (such as reading mode and whether to ask where to save files), and counters used to time ads. Uninstalling the app deletes this data. Files you save remain where you saved them until you delete them.

Permissions

The app asks for no storage, camera or contacts permissions. It uses the system file picker, the system “save as” screen and the Android sharing and printing features. The document scanner (if you use Scan) is provided by Google Play services. The app uses the internet connection only to load ads and to show Google’s consent form.

The app displays ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Depending on your region and choices, Google and its ad partners may use identifiers such as the advertising ID, IP address (and a coarse location derived from it) and device information to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. In regions where the law requires it (for example the EEA, the UK and some US states) the app shows Google’s consent form before ads are requested, and you can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy options. If you decline, you can still use the app; ad-related features such as earning credits by watching an ad may then be unavailable, and the daily free credits continue. Credits

Credits are a local counter on your device used to limit some PDF tools. They have no monetary value, cannot be transferred and are not tied to an account. Clearing app data or reinstalling resets them.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your country). Please do not use it if you are below that age without a parent’s permission.

Your rights

Because the developer does not hold your personal data, there is normally nothing to access or delete. For data processed by Google, use Google’s own tools (for example Ads Settings: https://myadcenter.google.com) and the Privacy options inside the app. If you have questions, contact dailyapplications@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address and the date above updated.
